Hightown Composting Co Ltd is the sole manufacturer of the Orrell Hills brand as well as manufacturing and supplying peat free compost, topsoil, woodchip, bark mulch and firewood to garden centres, the trade and the general public. We hold a large number of trade accounts, to setup a trade account for products or services please contact us.
We receive and recycle all types of botanical and forestry cuttings, from grass cuttings and leaves to
tree trunks and roots, whether it be a barrow load or a wagon load.
All green waste is charged by the ton and all vehicles are weighed in and out of our reception centre.
A minimum tipping fee of £10 is charged, contact us for up to date tipping fees.
We also accept horse midden waste (both shavings and straw based) and can arrange removal if
required, contact us for further details.
