We have developed two specially formulated top dressings for sports grounds and golf courses:
• Premier Improver
• Rootmix
Premier Improver - is our Finest screened and matured organic soil improver.
Benefits
• Compost delivers natural plant fertilisers which are slow releasing over three years. Therefore
reducing the need for artificial fertiliser.
• Sterile product so no weed seeds or pathogens present
• Improved water holding in light soils so less irrigation required
• Reduced nutrient leaching
• Helps improve soil structure leading to better aeration
Applications
• Top dressing golf courses, race courses and sports pitches, 20 to 100 tonnes per hectare
• Lawn Top Dressing - perfect for top dressing lawns in Autumn especially after aeration.
Rootmix - is a specially formulated mix of screened sand and Orrell Hills Organic Soil Improver
Benefits

reducing the need for artificial fertiliser.
• the fine sand mix improves soil structure and aeration
• Sterile product so no weed seeds or pathogens present
• Reduced nutrient leaching
Applications
• Top dressing on recreation pitches, golf courses and race courses from 20 to 100 tons to the hectare
• Divots used for filling individual holes
• Turf laying used under turf to promote quick rooting and reducing the need for watering
• Lawns perfect for top dressing lawns in the autumn after aeration.
