We supply seasoned split firewood in nets and in our extra value giant bulk bags, our logs are all selected from tree surgeons waste (we only select hardwood varieties) before seasoning.

Logs - The Importance of Quality Firewood

It is important that firewood is seasoned (stored and dried) for a minimum period of 12 months prior to burning.  The seasoning process naturally dries the logs (reducing moisture content to at least 18%), dry logs burn more efficiently than unseasoned timber as the heat generated is not being used to burn off moisture from the firewood.  Energy from the flame used to dry unseasoned timber is energy lost.   

For this reason we only supply firewood that has been seasoned  prior to being split, our split logs are stored undercover to season further.

Logs are cut and split from recycled tree surgeons waste, trees are not harvested for the sole purpose of producing firewood.  We cut logs to length between 8 inches and 10 inches, however, we can cut logs to suit your needs.  If you have a special size requirement please contact us, our sales team will be happy to assist you.
